A notice of change of ownership must be submitted whenever a vehicle is sold or change ownership. The vehicle registration system will be updated with the details of the new owner of the vehicle. Please submit the following:
- South African Identity Document of the Buyer (person receiving the vehicle)
- South African Identity Document of the Seller (person relinquishing the vehicle)
- Vehicles Original RC1/Natis
Please download and complete the form above. We need the original RC1/Natis document to complete the change of ownership transactions. Please contact us to arrange collection and delivery or deliver the documents to us.
Transaction fees are not included in the service fee. Transaction fees are calculated and paid to the authorities. Clients then need to make payment upon receipt of invoice to MRL before transaction will be processed and documents released.
