The following is required for the registration of NEW motor vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, semi-trailers, trucks and caravans:
- Introduction/Manufacturing Certificate
- Proof of Address
- South African Identity Document
- Proxy Pack of Entity
- Signed letterhead of Proxy or Vehicle Owner
For the registration of SECOND-HAND motor vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, semi-trailers, trucks and caravans the following is required:
- Roadworthiness
- Proof of Address
- South African Identity Document
- Original Registration Documentation
- Permission Letter

Transaction fees are not included in the service fee. Transaction fees are calculated and paid to the authorities. Clients then need to make an additional payment to MRL to cover transaction fees before transactions will be processed.
